ROME (ITALPRESS) – The new Toyota Land Cruiser offers the model’s well-known characteristics of quality, durability and reliability. Designed to take on the toughest conditions, it has a rugged, purposeful design inspired by the iconic styling of the Land Cruiser’s history. Toyota’s New Global Architecture GA-F body-on-frame platform provides a basis for greatly increased rigidity and excellent response, as well as optimum ride and handling, on and off-road. It is also the first Land Cruiser to integrate electric steering and a new disconnectable anti-roll bar system. It is powered by a 2.8-liter turbodiesel engine redesigned for drivability and efficiency, with a new eight-speed automatic transmission and 205 horsepower. A 48-V mild hybrid model will be added to the lineup by the end of 2025.
The First Edition is the flagship model of the new Land Cruiser range, available only in limited numbers and reserved exclusively for customers who reserved the vehicle during the pre-sale period. It features custom styling, including classic round headlights, two-tone exterior paint in combination with Sand or Smoky Blue and black detailing, as well as “First EDT” badges. Inside, the front seats feature unique upholstery with piping and special stitching. With equipment that matches that of the top-of-the-line Lounge version, the First Edition offers a full range of technical features, including the new Detachable Front Antiroll Bar (SDM), which changes the state of the front anti-roll bar to improve handling on bumpy roads while providing greater comfort and maneuverability on the road. Other standard features include 18-inch alloy wheels, a digital rearview mirror, a 14-speaker JBL premium sound system, electric front seat adjustment, and a head-up display.
