ROME (ITALPRESS) – There were 882 firefighter interventions for fires attributable to New Year’s Eve celebrations, 179 more than last year, when there were 703.
The largest number was in Lombardy, where there were 142. Other interventions were in Emilia Romagna 109, Veneto and Trentino Alto Adige 103, Campania 99, Lazio 70, Tuscany 70, Piedmont 65, Liguria 61, Puglia 40, Friuli 38 Venezia Giulia 38, Marche 26, Sicily 25, Calabria 13, Umbria 8, Abruzzo 7, Basilicata 3, Molise 3. No interventions are reported in Sardinia.
