ROMA (ITALPRESS) – 2025 was an important year for Nissan that consolidates its leadership in the electrified crossover market, launches new 100% electric models and the third generation of e-POWER engines. Nissan Qashqai confirms its 4th position among the C-SUV and 7th place among the best-selling hybrids in Italy, while Nissan X-Trail is 10th place among the best-selling D-SUVs. Both models are available with e-POWER or Mild Hybrid engine, with 4WD option for more adventurous customers and 7 seats on X-Trail.
Nissan Ariya’s volumes grow, the 100% electric crossover, which scores a +43% compared to the previous year. And in 2025 the new Nismo version arrived in Italy, with a 435 HP engine and 600 Nm torque that pushes the car from 0 to 100 km/h in only 5 seconds and from 80 to 120 km/h in 2.4 seconds. The advantages offered by the Nissan crossover range in terms of operating costs have been greatly appreciated by Italian non-captive rental companies, so much so that Qashqai, X-Trail and Juke models are all on the podium of sales. As for product innovations, in 2025 Nissan launched the sixth generation of Micra – which returns to Europe in a 100% electric version – and the third generation of Leaf, completely renewed in style and product content. Two iconic models with which Nissan further expands its offer of electrified products.
The new Micra, with compact SUV lines and spacious interiors, is available with 40 or 52kWh battery and up to 416 km. The new Leaf, which has a crossover design with aerodynamic resistance coefficient of 0.25, is available with 52 or 75kWh battery, up to 622 km. Both cars, suitable for both the city and for long trips, have a rich range of innovative driving, safety and connectivity assistance technologies. In addition, the third generation of e-POWER technology whose strengths are further enhanced to fix new driving standards, with all the pleasure of electric driving and the convenience of a thermal vehicle. Compared to the previous generation, autonomy grows by 13% and exceeds 1,200 km with a full of 55 liters (WLTP cycle), CO2 emissions pass from 116 g/km to 102 g/km, the noise of the cabin is reduced by 5.6 dB and in Sport mode the power increases by 15 CV and reaches up to 204 CV.
Nissan Qashqai with the new e-POWER has suffered a remarkable success, with over 2,000 new contracts since the launch, up 26% compared to the same period of 2024 and their weight on the total sales of the model that reached 70%, 5 points more than the previous version.
New for Nissan More, the free guarantee that is activated and renewed with the coupon executed at the Nissan network, which from 2025 is even more advantageous, thanks to the greater number of components covered by the program. Always free but with much more coverage. Nissan More extends up to the tenth year of life of the car or 200,000 km of travel and offers an insurance cover* of one year (or for the mileage provided by the maintenance plan) on the most important and expensive components of the vehicle. From the launch (October 2024) to today, there are about 20,000 Nissan customers who have chosen Nissan More and the innovations introduced apply to all contracts already activated and offer an extra reason to other customers to join the initiative.
