ROME (ITALPRESS) – Nissan takes another step forward in the spread of electric mobility with an ecoincentive program on Townstar EV for passenger transport. Private customers, in fact, can benefit from a Nissan discount of 10,000 euros on the purchase of this model, a discount that goes up to 12,000 euros for cab professionals. To these are added an additional 11,000 euros of state incentive in the case of scrapping a Euro 0,1,2 vehicle, which brings in entry price of the car to 19,993 euros for private customers and 17,993 euros for taxi drivers. Nissan Townstar EV for passenger transport is available in Combi (short wheelbase 5-seater) and Evalia (long wheelbase 5 or 7-seater) versions, both equipped with an electric powertrain with 122 hp of power at 245 Nm of torque, powered by a 45 kWh battery that offers a range of up to 265 km.The vehicle is also equipped with a heat pump and liquid cooling system to ensure the comfort of the passenger compartment while providing greater efficiency and thus greater range. The 22kW AC charging is best-in-class and allows the battery to be recharged in just one hour and 30 minutes (15% to 80%). With 80kW DC fast charging this time is reduced to just 37 minutes. Thanks to its extraordinary versatility, Townstar Evalia can meet all kinds of needs of customers who want to travel comfortably on urban or suburban roads, in the company of colleagues, friends or with family. In the Evalia version, the long wheelbase and wide sliding doors make it easy to access the second and third rows of seats, which can be lowered individually or removed to switch from a 7-seat to a 5- or 2-seat configuration. This makes it possible to modify and organize the space for passenger and cargo transport, with the cargo capacity reaching up to 3,750 liters, plus 49 liters in the front storage compartment.Nissan Townstar Evalia has a wealth of comfort and safety technologies, including emergency braking with pedestrian and bicyclist recognition, blind spot monitoring system, tire pressure monitoring system, driver fatigue warning, lane keeping system, front and rear parking sensors, and e-Call functionality that allows the driver to keep hands on the wheel and eyes on the road even when it is necessary to make a phone call. Special attention has been paid to the quality of life on board the car with a number of improvements, including soundproofing of the cabin whose quietness is now at the top of its class. Townstar Evalia, like Nissan’s entire LCV range, also has standard 5-year or 160,000 km warranty and 8-year/160,000 km EV battery warranty.
