VAL D’ISERE (FRANCE) (ITALPRESS) – Marco Odermatt wins by a whisker the Val d’Isere giant slalom. The Swiss, in the lead after the first run, wins with an overall time of 2’11″66, preceding by just 8 hundredths Patrick Feurstein who, taking advantage of the gradually worsening weather conditions in the second part of the race, even climbs up from 24th position. On the podium also Stefan Brennsteiner, third at 0″12), good also Luca De Aliprandini who climbs from 15th to sixth place overall (sixth heat time) at 0″39 from Odermatt.
