Odermatt wins World Cup giant slalom in Alta Badia

ROME (ITALPRESS) – Marco Odermatt won the giant slalom in Alta Badia, valid for the men’s Alpine Ski World Cup. The Swiss, who had finished the first run in third place, preceded Frenchman Leo Anguenot on the podium at 85 hundredths. Third was Novergian Alexander Steen Olsen at 88 cents from the winner. Only fourth was Filip Zubcic of Switzerland, who had closed the first part of the race in the lead. The best Italian was Alex Vinatzer (+1″94), eighth and author of an excellent second run (he was 24th). Thirteenth was Luca De Aliprandini (+ 2″22).
