ROME (ITALPRESS) – At its meeting on Dec. 17, 2024, the Board of Directors of Crèdit Agricole S.A., under the chairmanship of Dominique Lefebvre and on the recommendation of the Appointments and Governance Committee, decided to appoint Olivier Gavalda as General Manager of Crèdit Agricole S.A, after the General Meeting of May 14, 2025.The transition within the general management of Crèdit Agricole S.A. will be organized in the coming months.Olivier Gavalda has spent his entire career at Crèdit Agricole. He joined Crèdit Agricole du Midi in 1988, where he successively held the positions of Organization Project Manager, Branch Manager, Training Manager, and finally Marketing Manager. In 1998 he joined Crèdit Agricole d’Ile-de-France as Regional Director, before being appointed Deputy Managing Director of Crèdit Agricole Sud Rhòne-Alpes in 2002, with responsibility for Development and Human Resources.In 2007 he became Managing Director of Crèdit Agricole de Champagne-Bourgogne. In 2010 he joined Crèdit Agricole S.A. as head of the Regional Banks division and in 2015 was appointed Deputy General Manager with responsibility for Development, Customers and Innovation. In 2016, he became General Manager of Crèdit Agricole d’Ile-de-France. Olivier Gavalda has been Deputy General Manager of Crèdit Agricole S.A. with responsibility for Universal Banking since November 2022.Olivier Gavalda holds a master’s degree in econometrics and a postgraduate diploma (DESS) in organization/information technology from Arts et Mètiers.
