FLORENCE (ITALPRESS) – It was all easy for Fiorentina, which beat Austrian side Lask 7-0 and laid a solid foundation to qualify directly for the Conference League round of 16. Barring extremely favorable results from the other teams fighting to get into the top eight, the Viola will only need a draw in a week’s time in Portugal against Vitoria Guimaraes. The technical difference between the Gigliati and former Brescia Schoop’s men was too obvious. What was needed, however, was a convincing performance and above all the three points for the team captained by Martinez Quarta, also to try to erase an eve made nervous by the self-exclusion of Biraghi, whom coach Raffaele Palladino did not summon by technical choice, and the success came with the hosts taking the lead at 10′ through Sottil, who was good at collecting a cross from the left by Parisi, but with Fiorentina actually having already gone in on goal after less than 2 minutes through Kean, who, however, had adjusted the ball before putting it in the net with an arm. Lask made it a quiet European debut in goal for 2006-born Martinelli, who was spooked only by teammate Kayode at 12′, the author of an erroneous stop with his chest that favored Entrup’s insertion, which, however, hit the crossbar. The purple double came in 23′ when an action started by Kean was continued by Kouame who crossed from the left for the incoming Ikonè who beat Jungwirth again. The 3-0 score bears the signature of Richardson, who headers in the middle of the Austrian defense after a free kick taken by Sottil (39′). Kean did not score but chipped a crossbar before the end of the half, drawing applause. In the resumption, softer rhythms for the Tuscans, who, however, do not give up appearing in Lask’s area as on the occasion of the 4-0 signed again by Sottil (58′) and the poker stamped by Mandragora (68′), on an assist by Gudmundsson, with the Icelandic taking over from the bench around the hour of play. In the final space in Fiorentina’s house also for another rookie, the 2005 class Harder, with to follow Stojkovic’s own goal and Gudmundsson’s final goal on a penalty kick that sealed an evening with only positive notes for Raffaele Palladino.- photo Image – (ITALPRESS).
