PALERMO (ITALPRESS) – Gregorio Paltrinieri will be the first Italian tedophorus of Milan-Cortina. The Olympic torch of the next Winter Games will arrive tomorrow at the Quirinale and Friday at 11 am will begin the journey into the peninsula – 63 days with 60 stages, crossing 110 provinces and over 300 municipalities – which will end on the evening of 6 February 2026 in Milan, with the opening ceremony at the stadium of San Siro.
A journey therefore that, according to what is learned, will be opened by the Olympic gold in the 1500 style of Rio 2016 and that will see, among the streets of the Capital, alternating other theologians like Achille Polonara, the wing of Dinamo Sassari struggling against leukemia, and other Olympic champions like Elisa Di Francisca and Gianmarco Tamberi. Among the other tedhores of this first relay also the tennis player Matteo Berrettini, the former captain of the Italbasket Gigi Datome, the first absolute choice at the 2006 Nba Draft Andrea Bargnani and the four-time world champion of 250 and double bound in Superbike Max Biaggi. And again, Oscar Giuseppe Tornatore, actress Claudia Gerini, designer Lavinia Biagiotti and singers Achille Lauro and Noemi.
