SATURNIA (GROSSETO) (ITALPRESS) – “The enabling law requires a long series of actions, we have to start again by recreating the framework, the permitting part, the certifying body, the whole phase of training and education, the technological modalities, the installation criteria, the distances from the installation. All this will be done by legislative decrees. Now the enabling act goes to the Chambers, I think next week, then it will depend on the president of the House and that of the committee to schedule it.” This was said by Gilberto Pichetto Fratin, minister of the Environment and Energy Security, speaking at the fifth edition of the ‘Forum in MasseriĆ ,’ following yesterday’s green light from the Cdm on the enabling law on nuclear power. “There will be a long debate because there have already been two months of hearings in the House. I hope that by the fall, end of the year, it will be approved. From there then 12 months to have the legislative decrees and by 2030 we will have nuclear power in Italy. I am convinced of that,” he added. As for bills, particularly for gas, according to the minister, “on the indicators, analysts give, in addition to the fact that summer is coming, a trend of reducing the price of gas. This means a reduction in the overall energy price, with a significant effect for our country, because the price in Italy is essentially terminated by gas,” he explained.
