TURIN (ITALPRESS) – A goal apiece and a point each for Torino and Genoa: in the first half the granata were better, unlocking it in the second half thanks to Thorsby’s own goal. In the second half the Rossoblù come out and Pinamonti scores for the final 1-1. Lots of graft from the market for Vanoli who, however, leaves the newcomers on the bench and goes for the safe used: Ricci and Tameze in the midfield with Lazaro, Vlasic and Karamoh supporting Che Adams. Vieira forgoes Zanoli, still not top after the flu, and dusts off Matturro in place of the disqualified De Winter. Up front is Vitinha in the trident with Miretti and Pinamonti. Torino mastered the field in a first half in which it was Vlasic’s liveliness that made the difference. The 10 granata calls Leali to his first intervention of the match with his fists, then he funnels for Che Adams who goes down in the penalty area after a contact with Vasquez: Feliciani makes play. Again Vlasic comes on and the Genoa goalkeeper makes a two-timer save while on the half-hour mark Tameze stops with a muscle problem and Vanoli, forced to change, throws Gineitis into the fray. Karamoh points to the area from the left and kicks at the second post but misses the mirror. Just when the 0-0 seems a foregone conclusion for the first half, here comes Torino’s deserved lead: in minute 47, on a taut corner by Lazaro, Vitinha touches it and then touches Thorsby, who inserts into his own goal. Vieira tried drawing from the bench to shake up his Genoa side, in came Zanoli and Messias for Vitinha and Miretti. Apt moves: by the Brazilian the first shot on goal for the grifone, while the former Napoli player breaks through with central penetration but is bricked at the best by Maripan. In between the two red-blue chances, a verticalization by the usual Vlasic for Adams who sends on the outside of the net. Badelj gets hurt and Masini enters, but overall it’s a good moment for Genoa, even if it takes the complicity of Torino to get to 1-1: trivial mistake in Coco’s exit, the ball reaches Messias who triggers Pinamonti who beats Milinkovic Savic, also deceived by Maripan’s involuntary deflection. Having restored the balance, the two teams’ fear of losing prevails over their desire to win in the final game. Vanoli makes Biraghi and Casadei debut and then plays the Sanabria card alongside Adams. It is precisely the two strikers who are protagonists in the last, agitated episode of the match: in the midst of recovery there is a double contact in the Genoa area, first Matturro lightly holding Adams and then, on the development of the action, Sabelli reserves the same treatment for Sanabria. The Genoa players clamor for a penalty, but the referee lets the game play out and after a short time whistles three times, sending the end credits of the match.- Image Photo -(ITALPRESS).
