ROMA (ITALPRESS) – “Finality and methods of that procession have an evident eversive matrix and, therefore, potentially terrorist, that must be faced with adequate tools.” Thus the Minister of the Interior, Matteo Piantedosi, in an interview with La Stampa on the disorders during the last Saturday event in Turin. “The preventive filter could have been strengthened by the possibility of practicing the police station for at least 12 hours, as we have foreseen among the rules to be approved. It is aimed at blocking previously subjects of which we already know intentions and attitudes”, explains referring to the new package on safety in question. On the possibility that rules on public order and to protect the forces of order can be inserted in the Security Decree, the Minister answers: “These evaluations will result in comparison that we will continue with government colleagues.”.
For Piantedosis “it is good to leave the hypocrisy of a clear difference between these delinquents and most so-called peaceful protesters. Police forces report that in Turin, when the demonstration was prepared for violence, many of the so-called pacific protesters made a physical shield, even opening the umbrellas, to prevent the most violent groups from being seen when they were transposed and equipped for assault and to resist the police tears.” With regard to political responsibilities, the owner of the Viminale observes that “who parades alongside these delinquents, or more generally ventures into sociological reflections on the need to guarantee them spaces offers coverage to these organized groups. In fact, making it difficult to separate their respective responsibilities.” On the complaints arrived also from the centerleft, chiosa: “It is certainly a positive signal. There can be no hypocrisy in the face of such gravity.”.
