Pnrr, Foti “Maximum effort to achieve goals”

ROME (ITALPRESS) – “With the payment of the seventh installment, Italy will confirm its European supremacy in the advancement of the Plan, with 140 billion euros received, corresponding to 72 percent of the total endowment and, in terms of performance, with 337 targets achieved, equal to 54 percent of the total programmed targets. The Report, with reference to the physical progress of the measures, shows that about 92 percent of the entire Plan is activated, in the process of activation or in the process of closure, with spending constantly being updated, which stood – as of December 31, 2024 – at 63.9 billion euros, exceeding 52 percent of the resources received to date.” Thus Minister for European Affairs, Cohesion Policies and the NRP, Tommaso Foti, at the Steering Committee for the presentation of the sixth Implementation Status Report of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan.

“Maximum attention is guaranteed to the Quota Sud, with 59.3 billion euros earmarked for the South, equal to 40.8 percent of the territorializable resources. Now is the time for responsibility,” Foti added. “The activity will continue in the coming months and will see the Meloni government, administrations, prefectures, implementing entities and all the institutions in charge produce the maximum effort to achieve the objectives included in the last three installments of the Plan, including through its possible adjustment. All the resources required for Italy’s economic and social growth will be safeguarded, with positive effects in the real lives of citizens and businesses.”
