ROMA (ITALPRESS) – Pope Leo XIV closed the Holy Door of St. Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican. A solemn gesture that concludes the Jubilee 2025. The Door had been opened by Pope Francis on 24 December 2024.
The President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, witnessed the concluding act of the Jubilee with the closure of the Holy Door in St. Peter’s Basilica. Mattarella, accompanied by her daughter Laura, then participated in the Mass of Epiphany and met Pope Leo.
