VATICAN (ITALPRESS) – In the morning of today, Pope Leo XIV received in audience, in the Apostolic Vatican Palace, Mahmoud Abbas, president of the State of Palestine, in conjunction with the tenth anniversary of the Global Agreement between the Holy See and the State of Palestine (26 June 2015). The Vatican Press Office reports it. During the cordial interview, the urgent need for assistance to the civilian population in Gaza and to end the conflict, pursuing the perspective of the solution to two states was found.
