ROMA (ITALPRESS) – On December 20th at 11pm, at the Salone d’Onore del CONI in Rome, will be staged the award ceremony of the twentieth edition of the “ASI Sport&Cultura Award”, one of the most anticipated moments of the year from the world of Italian sports. Six categories in race, Athlete of the Year “Carlo Pedersoli”, Technological Innovation, Gesto Etico “Fabrizio Quattrocchi”, Media Award “Gian Piero Galeazzi”, ICSC Plants and sports promotion. The jury consists of leading figures from the world of sport, journalism and entrepreneurship, who will vote among the three finalists for each of the categories. For the first time, a new section of Italians in the world is added to historical awards. To celebrate the award, among others are expected the President of CONI Luciano Buonfiglio, the President of Sport and Health Marco Mezzaroma, the President of the Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 Giovanni Malagò, the President of the Institute for Sports and Cultural Credit Beniamino Quintieri, the President of the CIP Marco Giunio De Sanctis and, of course, the President of ASI Claudio Barbaro, in addition to several presidents of the local associations and.
For the twentieth edition, ASI wanted to establish a new recognition, the Italian Award in the World, awarded by the jury to the people who have distinguished themselves in representing the excellence and style of our Country outside the national borders. In this case, the prize has already been awarded to “Sir” Claudio Ranieri who, at the Salone d’Onore, will receive the award for the incredible enterprise that ten years ago has accomplished with his Leicester and other international experiences. He will be protagonist with his history also a coach, Vincenzo Alberto Annese, who has led abroad teams in 14 countries between clubs and nationals on four different continents and currently is the technician of the national Burkina Faso in retreat for the Africa Cup. Both technicians will be present Saturday, December 20 at the ceremony. Passing to the other categories, in the section “Gesto Etico”, they are in praise for the Marco Matteazzi prize, the young man who transformed the wound of bullying into an incredible resilience test, running 100 half marathons in 100 days and 99 marathons in three months, transforming the race into a powerful message of ransom for him and for many young people who are following him in this sport project. There is then the Polisportiva Bellavista di Bitonto, for the gesture of fair play performed by their young player invited by his coaches to mistaken a rigor shot unjustly whistled in favor.
