MILAN (ITALPRESS) – The Israeli National Tourist Office renewed again this early in the year the traditional appointment with the Press Award dedicated to the best journalistic services dedicated to tourism in Israel.The event aimed to reward the best services carried out in the year 2023.At Palazzo Bagatti Valsecchi, home of the House Museum, in Milan, the ninth edition of the traditional Israel Press Award was held, dedicated to the best services published in 2023. The event celebrated quality journalism, rewarding the best narratives about Israel through different media categories. “With great pride we have realized this event at a time of openness and hope. We are happy to be able to show here also new images of our Ministry’s work that invites a return to Israel on the occasion of also, but not only, the ‘year of the Jubilee,” said Kalanit Goren.There were eight categories awarded: Trade Press, Social, Newspaper, Online, Periodical Press, TV Magazine, TV trade, Radio to which this year were added three special awards for particularly meritorious and significant contributions.The winners of this edition were:Trade Press Category: Travel Newspaper. For the editorial staff, the award was collected by Chiara Ambrosini.Newspaper Category: Il Giornale with a report by Anna Maria Catano.Social Media Category: Maria Teresa Ruta for her travel stories in Israel and for her always great attention and closeness to the destination, even after the tragic events of October 7. The award was picked up by the beautiful Guenda Goria, daughter of Maria Teresa Ruta.Online category: Isabella Radaelli for the title James Magazine, with a beautiful feature dedicated to the Glamour aspect of Israel.Periodical Press category: Archeo, which published in late 2023 a monograph dedicated to Archaeology in the time of Jesus. For editor Andreas M. Steiner, the award was collected by Professor Stefano Struffolino.Tv Magazine Category: awarded to a report from Studio Aperto, Italia 1 , by the extraordinary Elia Milani who reported on “24 hours inside the Holy Sepulchre.” The award was collected by colleague Francesca Canto.Tv Trade Category: awarded to Alma TV’s Gulliver tourism program, hosted by Stefano Ribaldi.
