ROME (ITALPRESS) – December 2024 ended with a state sector surplus provisionally estimated at 8,000 million, an improvement over the corresponding figure for December 2023, which ended with a requirement of 407 million. This was announced by the Ministry of Economy and Finance.The state sector requirement for the year 2024, in line with the forecast in the Medium-Term Budget Structure Plan, is estimated at about 124,900 million against a 2023 requirement of 108,573 million.
