ROMA (ITALPRESS) – The ranking of students admitted to Medicine after the open semester was published. In all 22,688 the boys considered suitable, that is they exceeded the two appeals of the semester filter. The available places are 17.278, so about 5 thousand students will have to choose a nice course. 1.535 students and 1,072 for dentistry are eligible for Veterinary. Considering the three courses – Medicine, Dentistry and Veterinary – over 14 thousand students were awarded to the athenaeus of their first choice.
The CINECA has communicated to the students of the semester open for access to the courses of Medicine and Surgery, Dentistry and Veterinary its score, its position in the national ranking and the University assigned. Students can now proceed to registration (for those who have passed the three exams provided for in the open semester – Chemistry, Biology and Physics) or registration (for those who will have to recover one or two examination debts at the assigned university).
The Ministry of University and Research has developed a vademecum for students of the open semester. The document provides both practical indications to complete the registration/registration at the various assignment universities with indications on the next key dates – synthesized to follow – and to guide students who have not obtained CFU for the continuation of their course of studies.

8 – 14 January | Registration and registration First window for registration (for students who have passed all three exams) or for registration (for those who have to recover one or two examination debts). Failure to register or register by 14 January involves deletion from the ranking and loss of the assigned place
.16 – 19 January | New choices for unassigned places Students who have not found placement in the locations originally indicated in the registration phase of the open semester can express new preferences, to apply on the places left free at national level. New choices must be made between 16 and 19 January.
21 – 24 January 2026 | Registration for students who have integrated the choice of locations Students who, between 16 and 19 January, have indicated new locations will have to register by 24 January.
28 January | Degree of related courses Publication of the ranking relating to similar courses.
28 – 31 January | Registration for related courses Students placed in a ranking in the related courses will have to register by 31 January.
By the end of the first semester | Recovery of CFUs Students will need to recover uncontinued University Credits (CFU) during the first half of the year.
The dates and methods of recovery tests vary from Athens to Athens and will be communicated directly by individual universities. Once the missing CFUs are achieved, it will be possible to perfect the registration.
