“Quattroruote La Novità 2026”, special prize “Volt” in Citroen Ami

TORINO (ITALPRESS) – “Quattroruote La Novità 2026”, the digital referendum in which the magazine nominates twenty cars chosen by the editorial staff among the most interesting new entries presented during the previous year, saw Citroen AMI prevail among the special prizes in the category “Volt”, dedicated to 100% electric vehicles.

Quattroruote users were called to express themselves both on the site and through Instagram stories, and AMI collected 39% of votes. Ami has reinvented the world of quadricycles, making it accessible to a soft electrical mobility solution, with its original shape and innovative architecture, where symmetry plays a key role in design choices.

Capable to accommodate two people, it is manageable and reaches speed up to 45 km/h. It reaches a range of 75 km, widely compatible with micromobility requirements, and is rechargeable by a normal electrical outlet. Ami also conveys social responsibility, as demonstrated by the Generation Ami project, to its fifth edition for the school year 2025-2026.

The initiative, sponsored by the Ministry of Environment and Energy Security and realized in collaboration with the National Center Against Bullism – Bulli Stop, has already involved more than 44,000 students, 2,684 classes and 6,700 test drives in four years. This year the program will reach 700 new classes and more than 15,000 students, with an educational path that includes a digital learning kit with laboratories and multimedia content; workshop in presence in 20 Italian schools and test drive of Citroen Ami, symbol of electric mobility and inclusion.

In addition to the standard version, Ami continues to surprise with special editions that express personality and creativity, such as Ami Buggy, which stands out for adventurous look, exclusive details and outdoor spirit, and Ami Dark Side, limited edition with bold and sophisticated design, which unveils the most wrinkled and anti-conformist side of Ami.
