Quiet night for Pope, continues treatment at Gemelli

ROME (ITALPRESS) – The night passed quietly, the Pope woke up around 8 a.m. This was announced by the Vatican Press Office in its bulletin on the Pontiff’s condition. The Holy Father has been hospitalized since Feb. 14 at the Gemelli Polyclinic and his condition continues to be stable, the Vatican Press Office also reported yesterday, pointing out that the improvements recorded in the previous days have been further consolidated, as confirmed by both blood tests and clinical objectivity and the good response to pharmacological therapy.

For these reasons, the doctors decided to dissolve the prognosis. However, in view of the complexity of the clinical picture and the important infectious picture presented on admission, it will be necessary to continue, for additional days, medical drug therapy in a hospital setting.
