Rapper Emis Killa under scrutiny amid ultras investigation

Rapper Emis Killa under scrutiny amid ultras investigation

In a recent wave of investigations targeting the organized fan groups of AC Milan and Inter Milan, rapper Emis Killa was searched by authorities, although he is not under investigation himself. This action follows the arrests of 19 ultras by the Guardia di Finanza and police, as officials delve into the connections between high-profile figures in the fan community and organized crime. The search, described as being “at third parties,” yielded €40,000 in cash along with weapons such as knives, knuckle dusters, and a stun gun.

Emis Killa’s relationship with Luca Lucci, the head of the Curva Sud, has drawn attention. The rapper has been spotted at San Siro multiple times with Lucci, who is currently in custody. For instance, during the Milan vs. Torino match on August 17, Lucci was seen in the “skybox” with Killa, and a banner was displayed in the Curva Sud reading: “Il Joker ride sempre,” a tribute to Lucci’s influence among the fans.

The prosecutor’s office detailed Killa’s presence in the stadium during an incident involving an assault on a security personnel at the turnstiles. Although Killa was seen in footage from surveillance cameras, he is not under investigation regarding this specific event. However, the inquiry sheds light on the dangerous nature of organized fan groups, particularly concerning a separate incident during the Milan vs. Roma match on April 11, which highlighted the chaos within San Siro.

During the April match, a security steward, M. A., was attacked after attempting to stop two individuals from entering the stadium with a single ticket, a practice known as “double dipping.” The prosecutor’s report noted that this incident exemplifies the “dangerousness of the organized Milan fanbase” and further confirms that “San Siro is out of control.”

Following the assault, the injured steward filed a report, and police intervened to assist him. Surveillance footage captured several individuals from the Milan fan group during the incident, including Emis Killa. While the rapper has not been charged, his associations with figures involved in the ongoing investigation have placed him in the spotlight, illustrating the intricate web of relationships that connect celebrities and the often tumultuous world of sports fandom.
