Renault Twingo E-Tech Electric, at the start of the Evolution version

ROMA (ITALPRESS) – The European market for electric cars evolves rapidly and the demand for affordable models is increasingly strong. Renault answers with Twingo E-Tech Electric, now orderable in Italy in the Evolution version at the launch price of 19.500 euros, excluding incentives.

It is the most accessible electrician ever for the French House and maintains the promise to offer a model under the threshold of 20 thousand euros. To achieve this, Renault has deeply rethinked design and industrialization, also leveraging the skills of Ampere.

Twingo E-Tech Electric introduces for the Group a LFP battery (Litio-Ferro-Fosfato), technology that uses more abundant materials such as iron and phosphate, reducing dependence on critical metals such as cobalt and nickel. Cell-to-pack architecture allows you to integrate a greater number of cells into the same space, lowering costs: overall, the technical choice allows a reduction of about 20% of the battery cost.

Not only competitive price, but also TCO content: consumption at the top of the segment thanks to engine efficiency and aerodynamic work. Designed for the urban environment, it aims to reduce the carbon footprint by 60% compared to equivalent thermal cities. The Techno version is available from 21.100 euros, while the tour “Hello Twingo” continues in Italy in view of the official launch in spring.
