ROMA (ITALPRESS) – Rossano Galtarossa was elected as leader of the Italian Canoeing Federation. In the elections that took place at the Salone d’Onore del Coni, the former blue Olympic (one gold, one silver and two bronzes to five circles in his palmares) received 85% of votes (equal to 224 preferences), beating the other two candidates, Marco Dodero (12%, 32 preferences) and Renato Alberti (2%, 6 preferences). The leader of Padua – already a federal adviser – happens to Davide Tizzano, who died on 29 December 2025 and remembered with a minute of silence at the beginning of the elective assembly.
