MOSCOW (RUSSIA) (ITALPRESS) — About the suspension of U.S. military aid to Ukraine “it is probably too early to talk about anything.” This was stated by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov at a press conference in Moscow today. If the U.S. really decides to suspend military aid to Ukraine, then this “could encourage the Kiev regime to move toward the peace process,” Peskov noted according to a report by the Tass news agency.
Washington would make its “best contribution to peace” in this way, the Kremlin spokesman said again, adding that “it is possible” that it is now Europe that will increase supplies instead. “We see some European countries saying that they will continue to provide full assistance. That is, they will probably try to compensate for the loss of ammunition and everything else,” Peskov concluded.
Normalization of relations between Russia and the United States “should entail liberation from the burden of sanctions.” This was stated by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov at a press conference. Peskov added that “at the moment there is no evidence” to suggest such an eventuality. “Our attitude to sanctions is well known, we consider them illegal,” Peskov noted.
