MILAN (ITALPRESS) – Caterina Banti and Ruggero Tita still together, dreaming a third gold to five circles. With a shared post on Instagram, the two-time sailing Olympic champions in the Nacra 17 category announce the return on team: “We’re back! Los Angeles 2028 calls us! We love the challenges and can’t keep us from wanting to go faster, higher, stronger… Together! Soon you will see us again on the starting line as a team.” In the post are also shared the current projects in which the two blues are engaged: “In the meantime, Tita is busy full-time with Luna Rossa for the great challenge of the America’s Cup, while Banti continues with his projects and his commitment to sports institutions.” The blue couple won both in Tokyo 2020 and in Paris 2024.
After the French Olympics, Banti had announced his retirement and dedicated himself to other projects while Tita continued his athlete life as part of Luna Rossa’s crew for the Louis Vuitton Cup 2024.
