If Trump succeeds in bringing Russia and Ukraine, Israel and the Arab world back to dialogue and peace, a new world of cooperation, trade and development will begin. There will be a return to exporting, traveling and working with important markets and peoples. Also on other issues, from the fight against illegal immigration to the defense of the family, we will be less alone: the free and safe West can really become central again.” So said Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure and Transport Matteo Salvini in an interview with “QN.” Then when asked if Italy should continue to support Zelensky, he added: “Support for Ukraine is right, we have always supported it and we will continue to do so, but I am relieved at the thought that the entire center-right (and even the Pd and 5 Stars) is against the use of weapons to attack and kill on Russian territory. We must do everything to achieve peace, avoiding an escalation that could result in World War III. And Trump’s victory could be decisive in stopping the warmongers there, including in Europe.”
