Santanchè “Motion of no confidence on facts prior to appointment as minister”

ROME (ITALPRESS) – The motion “deals with facts that, if they are highlighted, predate my swearing in as minister.” This was said by Tourism Minister Daniela Santanchè in the House chamber during the discussion of the motion of no-confidence filed against her by the opposition. “I would like to address the issues raised with the utmost transparency, reaffirming my commitment to the institutions, my oath taken in the hands of the President of the Republic on October 22, 2022, my respect for the judiciary, but also for the fundamental principles of our legal system.”

The minister added in the courtroom, “There is no fear in my bags. And I say this without any problem: I have a collection of bags,” she explained, “My father who was an eighth child of farmers taught me one thing: you steal only what you hide, and I have nothing to hide. I am the emblem of what you detest: I represent it plastically. I am a free woman, I wear high heels and I dress well,” she claimed, “You don’t want to fight poverty, you want to fight wealth.
