Sarri “I wish to dream, but at the moment we cannot”

ROMA (ITALPRESS) – Maurizio Sarri preaches realism and concentration on the eve of the transfer of Turin against Juventus. In the press conference, the technician of Lazio has avoided to dwell on the market, pointing out the need to work on a young and growing group: “I’m focusing on team and games right now, you know as well as I think. I think the first team was more ready, while this is made with guys who are to grow up. Only Taylor had to find physical condition and adaptation to the championship, his inclusion will be shorter. The other boys can have quality but they will have a longer path.”.

On the personal future, Sarri is not unbalanced but it means the will to continue the path in whiteceleste: “The future? There is a contract in existence, if there are no particular things that can change opinion to one of the two parties you can go on. Then, I am like the fans, I would like to dream, I do not say win. But now we can’t dream. It’s all year long that the team must go through great difficulties for various reasons. They can tell us that we are poor, but no one can tell us that we have not sought solutions.”

Ample space to analyze the challenge against Juventus, an opponent growing in recent weeks: “That the game is difficult is indisputable. I had never seen a Juventus as intense as the last twenty days. It is difficult to deal with, has quality, great reattance of lost balls, is a solid team. It comes from a defeat on which you can discuss. It didn’t make a mistake, the episodes went wrong and it came out of the Italian Cup. Then, going to play at that stage is difficult for everyone. The only positive aspect is that in football nobody wins a priori.”

The technician also touched the theme of the relationship with the typhorist: “The situation with fans is heavy, it is hard to play at the Olympic with four thousand people. The great hope is that this situation is reassembled, because it is heavy.”.

Finally, updates from the infirmary, with the imminent return of Romagnoli and the wait for new controls on Zaccagni, while for the new snowmakers will take time: Lazio, therefore, remains an open yard called to grow between difficulties and ambitions.
