UDINE (ITALPRESS) – The external blow of Sassuolo, which immediately raises the head after the neckline with Inter. The men of Fabio Grosso reassembled 2-1 Udinese in the match of Bluenergy Stadium, valid for the twenty-fifth day of Serie A 2025/2026: decisive goals of Armand Laurienté and Andrea Pinamonti. Good start of game for host training, which after just 3′ becomes dangerous with an insidious ball of Thorstvedt, on which Pinamonti does not arrive for a matter of centimeters. The reaction of the Bianconera compagine is not expected, so much so that at 10′ Oumar Solet realizes the net of the advantage: the defender goes progressively, enters the area and smacks Muric with a right on the first pole. The blackouts try to reset and hunt down the tie goal, but they’re struggling to get Okoye. At 31′ Thorstvedt, on Doig assist, attempts a conclusion that, however, is dirty and becomes easy reading for the opponent’s goalkeeper. At 43′ Kristensen performs a very hard surgery against Laurienté, but for Ferrieri Caputi there is not even admonishment. At the end of a minute of recovery, the two teams go to rest on the part of 1-0.
In the recovery Sassuolo starts again in the best way, touching the tie with Pinamonti, who can’t deviate on the net a traversone of Laurienté. For the 1-1 of the Emilians, however, it is only a matter of time since the 56′ Pinamonti serves a wonderful heel assist for the same Laurienté, which puts the ball behind Okoye. Not even the time to metabolize the blow for Udinese, that the boys of Fabio Grosso put the arrow of the surprise: at the 58′ Garcia draws a perfect cross for Pinamonti that, at the head, signs the 2-1. At the 70′ Bertola it marks the development of a corner kick, but its network is canceled for a hand failure after the revision to the Var. In the final of the race the opportunities are not lacking, so that at 79′ the new-enter Nzola goes very close to the tris hitting a clamorous pole. Despite an insidious conclusion to Gueye’s flight in recovery, the blackouts defend the 2-1 and return to victory after the 5-0 immediately against Inter; for the Bianconeri, instead comes the second consecutive defeat. By virtue of this success, Sassuolo is 32 points in the standings and hooks the Udinese. The Friulians will return to the field Monday, February 23 at Dall’Ara against Bologna, while the Emilian Friday will host the Hellas Verona at Mapei Stadium.
