Schlein “Meloni can’t get Santanchè to resign”

ROME (ITALPRESS) – “Giorgia Meloni chose her and wanted her at the head of the Ministry of Tourism, today, however, she pretends not to know her, she dumped her as she dumped her employees. She has probably realized that she has made a big mistake, but at the same time she is unable to fix it, she cannot get her to resign: she remains there, glued to her chair.” This was said by the secretary of the PD, Elly Schlein, during the explanations of vote on the motion of no-confidence against the Minister of Tourism, Daniela Santanchè, in the Chamber of Deputies. “It is astonishing that a Prime Minister who is so attentive to the rules of communication was not aware of the countless judicial travails,” she added, “of her tendency to gaffes, of the problems that the company of which she was managing director had, and also of the looming conflict of interests.
