In Emilia-Romagna the Pd has had an increase of about 8 points compared to the last regional but also compared to the European a few months ago. There was a very significant growth and also in Umbria we got to 31 percent. The Pd, after the 2022 defeat in the policies, has raised its head again, has regained a soul and a very strong connection with its people.” This was said by Pd Secretary Elly Schlein during a press conference on the Emilia Romagna and Umbria regionals. “De Pascale and Proietti demonstrated the ability to hold together broad coalitions that contributed to the victory. Each force made its own contribution to these two victories,” stressed Schlein, for whom “De Pascale and Proietti know how to combine a vision of the future with concreteness. I think the figure can be summed up in unity and humility. Unity because the coalitions have been cohesive around a shared project, the unity also of the Pd with lists that have achieved extraordinary results.
