“There are two judgments and an ordinance of the Constitutional Court, six judgments of the State Council and three of the Tar which have given reason to us against their actions,” Valditara stresses. “The Constitutional Court has confirmed that there are no school plexuses nor does the service affect students, indeed, reducing the administrative activities of the executives, it guarantees greater efficiency. It is a juridical approach of two institutions that become one, but schools remain the same, in the same places,” he continues. For the minister behind the behavior of the 4 Regions “there are obvious reasons for political exploitation”. And he says: “The service is not untouched: in the schools we notice there was already a regent principal and we do not fire personal.”.
“Since we settled we have valued economically as never the figure of school leaders. The excess of regency was a pathology that the Pnrr wanted to overcome – continues the minister -. Let’s remember if anything we have done two competitions, which were not done since 2017, and so we have assumed 889 new presidi and over 300 should arrive next year.”.
“The sizing, which established a relationship between the student population and the number of schools, was wanted and agreed by the Draghi government with the European Commission, turning it into a goal of the Pnrr, to whose realization is connected the payment of some installments – adds -. We have improved the criteria we had inherited “saving” 187 school autonomy. In 2025 we reduced 80 units of shortcomings considering the lower drop in the student population.”.
