SASSARI (ITALPRESS) – The Carabinieri of the Radiomobile Section of Sassari have arrested a 34-year-old man, accused of kidnapping, torture, personal injury, family mistreatment and resistance to official public.
The intervention took place in the late evening of 6 February, after the warning to the emergency number 112 by the mother of a young 25 year old, concerned because for days he could not get in touch with the daughter, who believed could be in the dwelling of the fiancé. Arrived on the spot, the military, failing to access the apartment despite repeated attempts to the intercom and having the certainty of the presence of people inside, they entered from the outside with the support of the Firefighters, using a basket. Inside the house the Carabinieri found the young man in a strong state of agitation, with evident signs of anger. The victim reported that he was held against his will for about ten days and suffered repeated physical and psychological violence. Subsequent investigations have allowed us to reconstruct a framework of serious mistreatment that has been going on for at least three months, with continuous aggression, humiliation, food deprivation and violence.
