GORIZIA (ITALPRESS) – The Finance Guard of the Provincial Command of Gorizia has seized over 110 kilograms of cocaine during an operation of contrast to traffic of drugs along the highway axis of Lisert, in the direction of the border with Slovenia.
The soldiers of the Group of Gorizia intercepted a self-arth with Croatian plate that, after crossing the Lisert barrier, proceeded towards the exit state. The medium, formally directed in Croatia and loaded with building materials, has not stopped at the top under the financiers, continuing the march. After being stopped, the driver, who appeared nervous, was under control.
Inside the truck booth, three studs were found containing 101 pure cocaine breads, for a total weight of more than 110 kilograms. The operations were also carried out with the support of the cynofile units.
The driver, a driver of Serbian origin, was arrested for detention, transport and aggravated traffic of narcotic substances and was led at the prison in Gorizia. According to estimates, the drug seized would have yielded to criminal organizations about 20 million euros.
