SIGEP World 2026 in Rimini with 1,300 brands and new countries and projects for chains and hotels

RIMINI (ITALPRESS) – SIGEP World – The World Expo for Foodservice Excellence, the International Exhibition of Ice Cream, Pastry, Chocolate, Bakery, Pizza and Coffee organized by Italian Exhibition Group (IEG), will return to the Fiera di Rimini from Friday 16 to Tuesday 20 January. An event that is not limited to presenting products and technologies, but which unites in a single place manufacturing excellence, innovation and international markets. SIGEP World 2026 presents itself with an expanding exhibition perimeter, strong of 1,300 exhibitors that bring to Rimini the best of Made in Italy, from the tradition of supply chain to the most advanced technologies. In addition to a solid Italian presence and of absolute excellence, represented by the leading companies of the foodservice chains, the foreign component also grows significantly, which marks a +28% with 45 countries ready to intercept the global market of dessert and out-of-home. In this growing geography there is a group of countries that, for industrial weight and capacity for innovation, draws, together with Italy the main sectors of the sector. Germany, Spain, France, China, Turkey, Belgium, Poland, the United States, Greece and Denmark will be present at the fair with technologies, ingredients, productions and know-how capable of orienting trends and strategies of the global market. The new entries of the 2026 edition are added to this scenario: Canada, Saudi Arabia, Algeria, Ecuador, Estonia, Serbia, Singapore, Nepal and Czech Republic. In addition, the National Pavilion, the official collectives of the countries that choose SIGEP World as a strategic showcase for their excellence: this year will be present Saudi Arabia, China, Ukraine and Brazil.

The international framework is completed with India, Guest Country 2026, waiting with a delegation of 50 top buyers and institutional representatives, as well as exhibitors specialized in ice cream technologies. The strengthening of the offer is accompanied by intense incoming activities: the Top Buyer Program will bring 500 buyers from 75 countries to Rimini, with the United States, India, Canada and Brazil in the lead for representation. The profiles involved include the main foodservice chains, large importers and distributors engaged in selecting technologies, products and solutions capable of anticipating the needs of global markets. At SIGEP World the chains dialogue with each other and tell a foodservice that changes rapidly. Ice cream is a protagonist with a real cultural project – from what is Gelato routes? and Gelato Meets Chains – designed to show chains, hotels and international operators how and with which business model Italian ice cream represents today a global business lever. The bakery grows, driven by frozen and by technologies that multiply the possibilities of laboratories; chocolate brings great players to the field with increasingly sustainable processes; the bakery sector expresses a new industrial maturity, while the pizza pushes on the accelerator with Pizza (R)evolution, among evolved doughs and format that are conquering the international market.

Coffee completes the picture with an itinerary from origin to cup passing from the Sustainability District, which brings together producing countries and projects dedicated to sustainable chains, from African cooperation to Latin-American cocoa. And then the Innovation Bar, where AI and robotics reinterpret the contemporary coffee shop. Luxury Hotel Food Experience is added to this trajectory, a new strategic tile that relates the brands of high-end hoteliers with the excellence of the chains of the event, creating experiential tables and moments of confrontation dedicated to the managers Food&Beverage and chefs of premium hotels. Alongside the most traditional chains, everything that connects them and empowers them: foodservice technologies meet in the Kitchen Equipment Hub, a showcase for solutions that will change the way to produce, serve and manage; Frozen Product Hub photographs the growth of quality frozen, becoming a strategic ally for format and chains while digital services find home in the new Digital District, where software, smart payments and robotics redesign the work of room and laboratory.
