ROME (ITALPRESS) – Fresh winner of the Atp Finals in Turin, Jannik Sinner is increasingly the overall leader of the Atp ranking, confirming himself at the top for the 24th consecutive week. It was in Turin that the South Tyrolean tennis player, days ago, was awarded the world number one trophy, a position that, already for weeks, he is certain to retain until the end of the year. In the Top Ten little changes, with Taylor Fritz, defeated by Sinner in the final in Turin, climbing one position and taking fourth place over Daniil Medvedev, and Casper Ruud advancing to sixth by overtaking Novak Djokovic. Substantially stable are the Italian nationals in the Top 100: Lorenzo Musetti (17th), Flavio Cobolli (32nd), Matteo Berrettini (35th), Matteo Arnaldi (37th), Luciano Darderi (44th) and Lorenzo Sonego (53rd), while Fabio Fognini, number 84, loses one position, but Mattia Bellucci, who is, now, number 100, gains four.
This is the top ten of the new Atp rankings:
