ROMA (ITALPRESS) – Strengthen the role of sport as an educational, social and aggregation tool in the territories and support the development of basic sports associations through financial instruments. This is the agreement protocol signed by the Institute for Sports and Cultural Credit and by Opes. The three-year agreement aims to develop operational synergies between Icsc and one of the most widespread realities of the Italian sports system, which can count on a network of over 800,000 members, 10,000 affiliate associations, 104 provincial committees, 20 regional committees and 11 locations abroad, engaged in the promotion of sport, culture and volunteering throughout the national territory. The collaboration provides access to financial instruments dedicated to support associations and affiliated sports companies, with the aim of strengthening the investment capacity of basic sports realities and promoting the development of sports practice in the territories. In particular, the agreement aims to facilitate interventions for the purchase of equipment, the realization and requalification of sports facilities and the improvement of their accessibility and sustainability. Through this partnership, Icsc and Opes intend to support the growth of the amateur sports system, promoting new opportunities for associations and sports companies and contributing to the spread of sport as an instrument of inclusion, education and social cohesion in local communities.
