Start ordering the new Renault 4 E-Tech

ROME (ITALPRESS) – Starting March 12 – from March 4 for R4 R Pass customers – it will be possible to order Renault 4 E-Tech Electric in three versions and two powertrains to meet customers’ different usage needs. Renault 4 E-Tech Electric is inspired by the DNA of the original model by reinventing itself as a versatile compact car of our times. 100% electric and connected, it is more than ever a voiture à vivre, but also an everyday crossover.

It wins everyone over with its retro-futuristic adventurous design and fits multiple needs for modularity thanks to its 2.20-meter cargo length and 420-liter trunk. The tailgate drops all the way down to the bumper, offering a record high cargo sill of only 61 cm, which is 10 cm lower than the average competitor! Renault 4 E-Tech Electric also offers Extended Grip equipment and boasts a towing capacity of 750 kg, enough to drive comfortably on all types of roads and undertake any journey.

In step with the times, Renault 4 E-Tech Electric also stands for technology, serving safety, with multiple ADAS, but also the driving experience and life on board, with the OpenR Link system with integrated Google. The latter is enhanced by more than 50 Apps, connected services and Reno, Renault’s official avatar, accompanied by ChatGPT. Lots of performance that will make it the next generation compact electric car.

Customers who have purchased R4 R Pass will be able to order Renault 4 E-tech Electric first. Contacted by the Renault dealer they indicated when they purchased R4 R Pass, they will be able to count, starting March 4, on an 8-day preemption period (up to and including March 11) to configure and order the vehicle. They will, thus, also be among the first to receive it. Other customers will be able to proceed with the order from March 12. The first motorization called Urban Range makes the Renault 4 E-Tech Electric available starting at 29,900 euros.

It features a 90 kW (120 hp / 225 Nm) wound rotor electric motor and 40 kWh lithium-ion battery with NMC chemistry for a range of up to 308 km. Renault 4 E-Tech Electric’s versatility is manifested in a second powertrain called Comfort Range that features a 110 kW (150 hp / 245 Nm) wound rotor electric motor and 52 kWh lithium-ion battery with NMC chemistry. It boasts a WLTP cycle range of up to 408 km for a price starting at 32,900 euros.

In both cases, Renault 4 E-Tech Electric is equipped with a bidirectional AC 11 kW charger, which allows it to benefit from the Power to Object (V2L, vehicle-to-load) function that allows 220 V devices to be connected to the car battery. Just enough to make Renault 4 E-Tech Electric a key player in the energy ecosystem. Charging time in AC 11 kW mode to go from 15 to 80 percent is 3 hours and 13 minutes with the 52 kWh battery and 2 hours and 37 minutes with the 40 kWh battery.+

For fast charging, the Comfort Range version is equipped with a 100 kW DC charger, while the Urban Range version has an 80 kW DC charger. In both cases, the time to go from 15 to 80 percent charging is only 30 minutes. Renault 4 E-Tech Electric will be available later this year in Plein Sud versions, equipped with an electric canvas sunroof. The large size of the roof (92 x 80 cm) allows rear-seat passengers to enjoy the benefits of the opening without sacrificing height at the pavilion.

Just like Renault 5 E-Tech Electric and the other models in the Renault range, Renault 4 E-Tech Electric customers can count on a connected vehicle maintenance service. No need to worry about the next service or wonder if it is time to replace the brake pads. Vehicle maintenance: customers have the ability to organize maintenance operations with a scheduled maintenance calendar and service history.

It is easy to make appointments with the My Renault App at the most convenient time. Personalized notifications: when events occur that require special attention, customers are notified by e-mail, SMS and the My Renault App. They can, thus, contact support or consult user guides. It is also possible to check the vehicle’s health status in real time on the My Renault App. Component wear prediction: Renault has developed mechanisms for predicting component wear and tear that enable it to inform the customer about the state of the brakes or battery and propose their replacement if necessary.
