Stefano Albertini (NYU) Honored with the Italian Reputation Award

The prestigious Italian Reputation Award has recognized Professor Stefano Albertini, Director of Casa Italiana Zerilli-Marimò at New York University (NYU), with a special mention for his outstanding contributions to promoting and preserving Italian culture in the United States.

This distinguished award, which celebrates excellence in reputation and Italian cultural influence abroad, was presented during an insightful educational event held at La Scuola d’Italia Guglielmo Marconi in New York. As part of the event, Professor Albertini engaged with young students from the Italian school in a special lecture, attended by Davide Ippolito, the award’s founder, and Michael Cascianelli, the school’s principal.

Under Professor Albertini’s leadership, Casa Italiana Zerilli-Marimò has become a key institution for fostering Italian language and culture in New York and across the United States. Beyond his academic achievements, Albertini has been instrumental in bridging the gap between schools and universities, guiding younger generations in making informed choices about their educational and professional paths. During his lecture, he emphasized the importance of collaboration between Italian cultural institutions abroad and local schools to ensure a dynamic and meaningful exchange between the two cultures.

Now in its second edition, the Italian Reputation Award continues to stand as one of the most significant honors recognizing individuals and institutions that strengthen Italy’s global presence and reputation. This award pays tribute to those dedicated to preserving and promoting Italian heritage worldwide.
