AMSTERDAM (PAESI BASSI) (ITALPRESS) – On the occasion of the International Education Day of 24 January, Stellantis renews its global commitment to education. Over the past two years, the Company has co-developed over 130 educational projects that, by 2026, will have an expected impact on 2 million students, teachers and members of global communities. This progress is made possible thanks to the collaboration with partners of local, regional and international non-governmental organizations whose experience and deep understanding of the needs of the community guide the actions of Stellantis Philanthropy.
Radiated in the needs of the territories, Stellantis Philanthropy collaborates with over 100 non-profit organizations worldwide and involves its employees in co-designing educational programs that expand access to education and improve student results. A dedicated model, based on long-term priorities, solutions inspired by local communities and helped in case of disasters, allows relevant initiatives, measurable and closely linked to the communities in which the Company operates.
In support of this global commitment, Stellantis Philanthropy brings together Stellantis Motor Citizens and Stellantis Student Awards in an integrated approach to community engagement.
“Education is one of the most powerful tools with which we can support the communities in which we operate – said the Chairman of Stellantis John Elkann -. Working with our partners and employees, we are actively working to expand learning opportunities for young people, with particular attention to science, technology, engineering and mathematics.”.
“To unite our initiatives under Stellantis Philanthropy strengthens our commitment to education and community improvement – said Xavier Chéreau, Chief Human Resources and Sustainability Officer –. We appreciate the collaboration with partners who have solid local roots and we continue to support students in the path that will lead them to acquire skills and safety to shape their tomorrow.”.
