AMSTERDAM (PAESI BASSI) (ITALPRESS) – Stellantis registers 2.421.571 vehicles (PC+LCV) in 2025 and confirms its solid second position among the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) on the UE30 car market. Stellantis securely maintains its first position in the strategic segment of hybrid vehicles with 15% share, thanks to the launch of models like Citroën C3 and C3 Aircross, FIAT Grande Panda, new Citroen C5 Aircross, new Jeep Compass and new Opel/Vauxhall Frontera. Also confirmed the traditional leadership in commercial vehicles with 28.6% market share. Fiat Professional Ducato is the most sold Stellantis Pro One model (+0.4pp vs 2024), while the Compact Van family (Citroen Berlingo, Fiat Professional Doblo, Opel/Vauxhall Combo, Peugeot Partner/Rifter) – is the most sold in its segment (price of 49.3%). Stellantis is #1 in the A segment with FIAT Panda and #2 in the B-SUV segment, while Peugeot 208 and 2008 are both among the 10 best sellers at European level. In the B hatch segment, Stellantis has 3 cars between the first 6 and Peugeot 3008 confirms its success among the top 5 of the C-SUV segment (+22.6% vs. 2024).
Stellantis is #1 in total sales (PC+LCV) in France, Italy and Portugal and #2 in Germany, Spain, United Kingdom, Austria and Belux. Sales increased in 5 of the 10 major markets (Austria, BeLux, Poland, Portugal and Spain). The final customer orders have grown significantly compared to 2024, with acceleration in the second half of the year (+8%) and an even more decisive start in the last quarter (+16%). Also the order book has grown to a consistent extent (+10% vs. 2024). “In a European market characterized by persistent uncertainties and that must nevertheless record the loss of approximately 3 million units compared to 2019, Stellantis has been able to confirm its key role among the OEMs, capitalizing its traditional strengths and finding new ideas,” the Group notes. “Despite the continuous market disturbances and an obvious weakness of demand, at the end of its first five years of life Stellantis has been able to confirm its second position among the major players of the automotive business, maintaining a considerable detachment from the competitors who follow it – explains Emanuele Cappellano, COO Stellantis for enlarged Europe –. I certainly deserve a programming based on our consolidated strengths, such as the traditional leadership on the difficult market of commercial vehicles, where Stellantis boasts three models in the Top Ten sales. Or as our competitiveness in segments A, in which FIAT Panda is the queen of the market with almost 24% of share, and in the segment B-SUV (over 2.5 million total registrations in 2025) in which Stellantis exceeds 20% of share. To these consolidated successes, thanks to a precise strategic choice Stellantis has been able to support a new primacy, the leadership in the segment of hybrid cars, obtained by scaling much more experienced competitors of this particular market – concludes Cappella -. Finally, I would like to emphasize that customers are rewarding our choices, as evidenced by the growing trend of our orders, especially in the second half of the year, which is a positive signal for 2026, in which Stellantis plans to introduce at least 10 product innovations.”.
