ROME (ITALPRESS) – Is the alarm about seismic risk for the Strait Bridge unfounded? “Absolutely.” The deputy prime minister and Minister of Infrastructure, Matteo Salvini, told Radio 24. “On the safety of an infrastructure there is no political debate, there are engineers, geologists, architects, university professors from halfway around the world: it is clear that engineers do not put the bridge in a seismic risk zone,” he explained. “It’s clear that you make an infrastructure so that it will remain for centuries, not to please a politician.”
