Strategic partnership of Stellantis and Cox Automotive Europe for use

AMSTERDAM (OLANDA) (ITALPRESS) – Stellantis and Cox Automotive Europe today announced the signing of a long-term collaboration agreement aimed at creating a remarketing ecosystem dedicated exclusively to the used vehicles of Stellantis that will be accessible to all professional operators in the sector, from large companies and dealers to smaller scale ones.

Stellantis, one of the largest automotive groups in the world, and Cox Automotive, a leader in the automotive industry connected to manufacturers, fleets and dealers, have been working side by side for over a decade. This collaboration led to the development of Spoticar Trade, an innovative vehicle marketplace launched in July 2024. The aim of this strengthened partnership is to create not only a marketplace, but a real ecosystem that can manage twice as many vehicles in nine European countries (Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal, Poland and Spain). This new configuration will generate an added value for both Stellantis and its BtoB partners.

The ecosystem is based on three main pillars: A industry leader marketplace that develops around the buyer to increase stock availability and offer a variety of purchasing options, including electronic auctions, private sales, “click & buy” formulas and options for large volumes.

The platform will allow buyers to access all Stellantis brands and offer cross-border functionality, with the possibility for all types of professional operators to purchase without limitation. A broader offer of tailor-made services to support operators throughout the customer journey, from the choice of cars to transport and logistics, from customs duties to storage and financing, in order to create and strengthen a solid relationship of trust and mutual support with Stellantis.

Finally, an intuitive and data-based decision-maker that will help Stellantis to be more efficient in stock management, channelling and pricing and offer a wider choice and greater transparency to all buyers.
