CATANIA (ITALPRESS) – The Humanitatis Progressum Association, of which Geri Muscolino is president, with the support of the Department of Social Services of the City of Catania and the State Police, presented the “Divisa Amica” project and the “Comune Amico” project at Garibaldi-Nesima Hospital, inaugurating a mural 5 meters wide and 2.60 meters high inside the Pediatrics ward, directed by Antonino Palermo. The event was also enlivened by the presence in the ward of some electric minimotos that, thanks to the availability of certified riders, took the young hospitalized patients around the corridors, giving them a few moments of light-heartedness.The children’s enthusiasm, finally, reached its peak at the arrival of the comic book superheroes, fourteen young men in costumes who dispensed smiles and hilarity.Welcomed by the Presidio medical director, Lita Mangiagli, and the director of the Maternal-Children’s Department, Giuseppe Ettore, the event was attended by the Questore of Catania, Giuseppe Bellassai, the Councillor for Social Policies of the City of Catania, Bruno Brucchieri, and the Noble President of the Sicilia Shrine Club, Andrea Carbone.
