ROMA (ITALPRESS) – On Saturday, October 10, at the Porte Aperte Suzuki, the new SV-7GX crossover will be the protagonist at the dealerships of the official network, where fans will discover features and equipment and live firsthand the pleasure of driving through a ride test.
The SV-7GX is a road crossover designed to offer maximum versatility: agile and fun in the mix, practice in everyday and comfortable travels. Its character was born from the encounter between the dynamic setting typical of a naked sport and the vocation to the typical journey of an Adventure Tourer. It develops on the super reliable 645 cm 90° V-cylinder engine, a propulsor that, in the SV-7GX, delivers 73.4 CV (54 kW) and 64 Nm torque, offering a prompt response to the low regimes and a constant thrust throughout the range of use. Refined to liquid and approved Euro 5+, the V-Twin Suzuki combines performance and consumption containment, with a declared figure of 4.2 l/100 km. Thanks to the 17.4 litre tank, the SV-7GX can reach a range of more than 400 km, a characteristic that further emphasizes its vocation to tourism.
The Suzuki SV-7GX lines blend grit and refinement, with a design developed through extensive wind tunnel tests to find the right balance between style and aerodynamic protection. The compact front integrates a LED lighting system, with lights and projectors designed to improve visibility during night driving. The windscreen is adjustable on three positions, with a 50 mm hike and the rear chairs are standard and contribute to comfort and protection from external agents. The driving position combines the sportiest inclination with the relaxed setting typical of crossovers. The variable section aluminum handlebar and the seat at 795 mm from the ground favour control and ease of driving. The passenger also enjoys special attention to comfort, thanks to a raised seat and handles integrated in the carrier, designed to make even longer journeys more pleasant.
The SV-7GX is equipped with the Suzuki Intelligent Ride System (S.I.R.S.), which integrates the main electronic guidance systems. The Suzuki Drive Mode Selector features three driving modes, and the Suzuki Traction Control System, which is adjustable on three levels and can be disabled. The package includes the ride-by-wire accelerator, the Suzuki Easy Start System, the Low RPM Assist, the Bi-directional Quick Shift System for quick changes in both directions and ABS. The technological equipment also includes a 4.2 inch TFT color display, equipped with automatic brightness sensor to ensure good readability in every condition. Through the Suzuki Ride Connect+ app, available for iOS and Android, you can connect your smartphone to the bike and use step-by-step navigation, as well as display notifications related to calls and messages, calendar, weather information, speed alerts and traffic. The app also allows you to remotely consult numerous information on motorcycles and travel, including fuel level, consumption, travel and last parking position. A USB-C port completes the equipment for charging electronic devices.
