I confirmed Italian support for US mediation in Ukraine, to strengthen the truce and reconstruction in Gaza through the Trump Plan. We discussed the situation in Venezuela, with particular regard to the detention of Alberto Trentini and other Italian political prisoners. We work without pause for their liberation. I thank Secretary Rubio for guaranteeing his commitment and the US State Department to a rapid release of all political prisoners in Venezuela.” So on X the Foreign Minister, Antonio Tajani.
