ROME (ITALPRESS) – “Overall the maneuver is fine, the goal of the rest is economic growth. However, there are some regulations that – in our opinion – should be changed during the debate in Parliament. We are against the requirement to impose ministerial auditors for companies receiving state contributions. There is a need for less state, not more state. Even accountants agree with us. And there is no need for Soviet regulations. Same with the freeze on police turnover: we are for more security, so we cannot approve the reduction of our officers on the streets.” This was said in an interview with the newspaper Il Giornale by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani. For the national secretary of Forza Italia, “it would be necessary to increase minimum pensions, but for this there is a need to reopen the tax concordat. Also on the taxation of the realities that operate on the web we have our own proposal: we need to tax the giants that operate on the internet, not the small ones. Still reducing the Irpef and increasing minimum pensions remain our priority goals.”
