This is an important day that closes the year, because it was founded on January 23, 1905, it was a challenging year with few celebrations and a lot of work, also because it was a year almost full of commissioning.” So the extraordinary commissioner of the Automobile Club of Italy, General Tullio Del Sette, at the event for the philatelic year of the stamp dedicated to the Automobile Club of Italy for its 120 years, organized today at the Mauto of Turin. The Aci since the beginning of the “short century”, has promoted and accompanied the development of motorization in our country: since in 1905 there were little more than two thousand cars to date, with more than 41 million cars in circulation and more than 55.5 million vehicles on our roads.

That adds: “With Poste Italiane we have also made a philosophic annulment of the celebratory stamp of our history, which shows how the Aci is still loved by the Italians and at the center of Italian social life”.
