The Aevf together with the Ministry of Tourism, launches a project of promotion of Italy of the paths

ROMA (ITALPRESS) – The European Association of Vie Francigene (AEVF), with the support of the Ministry of Tourism, launches “The network of paths towards Rome”, a national promotion project that from December 2025 to December 2026 will tell Italy of the paths through editorial content, activity on the territory and a new podcast dedicated to slow tourism.

The project starts with the publication of new articles on Italia.it, dedicated to the main themes that will define the future of sweet mobility: sustainable tourism, accessible, cultural, food and wine, smart and seasonal.

The goal is to propose a contemporary narrative of the paths that cross Italy, highlighting good practices, virtuous models and new opportunities for slow and conscious travel. In addition to the editorial contents, between spring and autumn 2026 four blogger tours will be realized that will cross some of the most representative walks of Italy, ideally linked to the ancient Vie Romee and able to tell the extraordinary variety of cultural and national landscape heritage.

Twelve content creators, selected through a public call, will be involved in a journey of discovery and narrative that will enhance local communities and cultures through authentic and rooted reports. The project is enriched by the podcast “Good Road Italy”, created by AEVF in collaboration with Terre di Mezzo Editore.

The series, consisting of twelve episodes of the duration of twenty-five minutes, will be published weekly for three months and will lead listeners to the discovery of four particularly significant walks: the Via Francigena, the Path in the Mutate Lands, the Minerary Way of Santa Barbara and the San Nilo Way.

The podcast is designed for those who want to choose their itinerary with greater awareness, for those who are already on the road and look for new perspectives and for those who want to discover stories, voices and lives of Italy far from the most beaten tourist circuits. The protagonists of the episodes will be experts, walkers and referents of the territories, direct witnesses of the revival of many internal areas. The production is entrusted to the authors Monica Nanetti, Sofia Nardacchione, Alice Facchini and Erika Scafuro, reference figures in the story of travel. The last part of the project concerns the training for cultural operators and fans of slow itineraries.
